The beach is located in the Puna district in Hilo. You will need to get off Highway 137 near Mile 19, on the Hilo side, to get there. Additionally, Dolphin Beach has black sand and plenty of shady areas, thanks to tall trees around the area. You will also see steep cliffs overshadowing the area. Honokohau Harbor Beach
You can find this clothing-optional beach off Highway 19 in the Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park on the Kona coast. It’s actually a popular beach for gay visitors. However, it’s not very private. You also might not be able to relax much here. That’s because police often patrol the area to find violators of the nudity ban. If you get caught, you’d be lucky if they only tell you to put your clothes back on. But if they’re not around, you’ll see people in their birthday suits.
Steam Vents
This is a clothing-optional steam bath and private beach. You’ll find this spot off Highway 130 near Hilo at Mile 15. It is private property, but the owners don’t mind people visiting. They also don’t mind if visitors are nude or otherwise. In addition, you can enjoy the steam baths, a feature of the natural caves located here.
